Danelle Pecht started competing gymnastics as an adult. As a coach in Houston and as the captain of the Space City Legacy adult gymnastics team, she navigates all the different gymnastics leagues and scoring structures including NAIGC, the Texas Gymnastics Conference, USAG, and the AAU, to help her team plan a competitive season. Danelle joins Pam Majumdar on Better Late to talk about why to start an adult gymnastics team and how to navigate the world of adult gymnastics competition. Danelle and Pam also talk about what an adult-first governing league might look like, the most and least likely U.S. cities to find adult gymnastics options, and why adult gymnastics may be the the key to saving the sport.
